Details:
- Learning to work confidently with a limited palette.
- Looking for the patterns and textures in the environment.
- Looking at and recording possible compositions by observing structure in the landscape to find naturally occurring compositions.
- Looking for contrast and harmony, warm and cool, receding and advancing in colour.
- Observing and recording colour using watercolour paint loosely in a sketchbook to develop confidence and explore before completing a final developed painting on stretched watercolour paper.
