Swaledale is a very picturesque river with dramatic scenery on both sides, artists have long been drawn to paint the area. Bill’s painting depicts the river itself on a summers day.
Painted in acrylic on watercolour paper. This is an original artwork framed with a 4.5cm off-white slightly distressed surface frame.
“I have painted all my life and have been a picture framer and gallery owner for 18 years, but now paint full time.
Whilst I paint only what I see, this can include images on the television, in books and photographs, as well as people and places. They are all very personal to me .
All my paintings are in acrylics on heavy watercolour paper.”
