Dark Frame Tiles – Natural

Artist / Maker: Lisa Ellul

A tile formed from rolled clay impressed with leaves and flowers. The tile is tastefully  framed in dark wood and has a two colour mount in neutral grey and white.

The  designs vary from the one photographed due to the seasonal nature of the tiles. They are made in small batches by Ellul Ceramics. The one shown has cranesbill, please contact the gallery for information about the present designs.

“I’ve always had a love of nature and been fascinated by the beautiful natural structures and textures found in plants, bark, seed pods, corals and shells. It is this natural theme that inspires my ceramics.”
