The techniques used here create a textural effect on the surface of the painting. The artist has used a combination of mixed media techniques.
The artist has been inspired by the light falling through the trees at Aysgarth in Wensleydale.
The artwork is original and not reproduced in print.
It is framed in a tray frame style frame that shows 1cm of wood to the front face and 3.5cmm of frame in depth. The frame is made from unpainted, lightly oiled ayous wood.
