Square Botanical Tile with 24ct Gold Leaf

A tile formed from rolled clay impressed with leaves and flowers. The piece has a touch of gold leaf for that extra touch of beauty. The tile has a hanging hook for display on the reverse.

The  designs vary from the one photographed due to the seasonal nature of the tiles. They are made in small batches by Ellul Ceramics. The one shown has cranesbill and honesty, please contact the gallery for information about the present designs.

“I’ve always had a love of nature and been fascinated by the beautiful natural structures and textures found in plants, bark, seed pods, corals and shells. It is this natural theme that inspires my ceramics.”

Lisa Ellul is a ceramicist based in the beautiful Peak District National Park. From her workshop she designs and hand makes sculptural vessels and forms inspired by the natural world. She has been a designer for nearly twenty years and has exhibited nationally and internationally. Lisa has pieces in the Yorkshire Museum and the City Gallery, Manchester.
